Assists in the general business aspect of the Center, with the Senior Program and maintains the board minutes and records.
Treasurer of the Board/ Office Manager
Became a Board Member in January 2015 and the Chief Financial Officer in November 2015. She also managers the front office at the Center and is the organizer of BINGO nights on Mondays and Thursdays.

Marlid began her Imperial Valley College internship at the Center in December of 2016. After she completed her internship, she became a Board Member. Marlid also helps in the capacity of outreach coordinator.
Creative and always on the go, Amanda became the new 2019 Pride coordinator. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Amanda Venuti moved to the Imperial Valley in spring of 2009. She is one of our more recent additions to the Board, but has provided several years of dedicated work to our center.
In 2017, Amanda Venuti began her volunteer work with the Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center. She began by assisting in planning for the 2nd Annual Imperial Valley Pride, recruiting vendors, planning and executing a drag show fundraiser, and helping the Entertainment Committee.
In 2018, she worked extensively with the Entertainment Committee of the 3rd Annual Imperial Valley Pride, booking local entertainment as well as a celebrity appearance for the festival.
In 2019, she joins the Board as the Imperial Valley Pride Coordinator. Amanda is also the Chairman of the Queens of the Imperial Valley and has coordinated their shows and appearances since 2017.
Amanda strives to spread awareness, education, and promote equality throughout the Imperial Valley through her work with the Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center.
Ambrose Ramirez III
Retired 20-year Navy Veteran (September 1990-September 2010).
Ambrose graduated from Ashford University in October 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Cognitive Studies to become a Substance Abuse Counselor. He became a volunteer at the center in March 2018 to help the LGBT community as well as use the skills he learned in the military. Ambrose helped develop the 1st Youth Cadet Academy to help underserved youth and is part of the Imperial Valley Tobacco Coalition. Helps with Veteran and other services along with taking care of the Maintenance for the center. Became a Board member in February 2019, and assists in coordinating Security/Safety for Pride.
Diego became a board member in 2019.
